BULLYING: #JusticeForLufuno trends on Social Media

#JusticeForLufuno trends on twitter this morning after a female learner , Lufuno,
from Mbilwi High School in Limpopo committed suicide owing to the fact that
she was being bullied by other learners at school and what's worse is the fact that
a video of her being bullied and beaten up by one of her school mate was out there,
making her the mockery of the school. The young girl ended her life later that day.

It's not the first time that we hear of such incidents but sometimes
I feel like we should act instantly when we see it happening.
To witness bullying and do nothing about it is also bullying because than to watch,
you can go and prevent it from happening or report if you don't have the power to prevent it!
The fact that videos were taken while she was being bullied and other students
were laughing about it, that infuriates me even more because it surely
means worse could happen in front of people who don't do anything about it.

Bullying should be a conversation that must compulsory to every
young kid so that as they grow, they will learn the effects of it.

All I can say, the young girl deserves justice and something must be done about it.
For the mere fact that she was not even defending herself through this
whole 'fight' ordeal tells us that she was not really a violent person but
she got to be the one that suffered the violence, it's very very sad.

I feel for her family and what they are going through in these times of loss,
it's unacceptable! Her death was unexpected and if it wasn't for the bullying,
little girl would still be living her best life but it's too late now,
she's gone and nothing can be done about it.

Schools should also try to play a bigger role when it comes to bullying,
not saying they don't do anything but I feel like more should be done
because bullying in schools happens everyday right under their nose
and it is kind of hidden and not reported to them so I'd suggest
that they put bullying as one of the major topics in the curriculum,
it's vital and very sensitive.

Everyone can stop bullying, it's preventable, if bullying isn't stopped,
more young lives will leave this world unexpectedly
