.

I recently attended the Boktown screening event, where thousands of fans gathered to watch the Springbok vs Australia Rugby match at Elkah Cricket Oval in Soweto. As someone who doesn't know much about rugby, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was open to trying something new. And boy, am I glad I did!

The Atmosphere

The energy at the stadium was electric, with everyone dressed in their Springbok attire. While I didn't have mine, I didn't feel out of place, and the vibe was still super fun. The drinks were surprisingly affordable, with a six-pack of alcohol going for just R210 – a steal!

Food, Fun, and Football

We grabbed some delicious food and enjoyed the match, cheering on the Springboks as they took the win. The real party started after the game, though, with special guest performances that had the crowd dancing.

The Performances

Babalwa M kicked off the party with her best songs, getting everyone in the mood. Then, DJ Thee Buhlee took over, spinning tracks that had the crowd moving. Njelic, a familiar face, brought the house down with his performance – I've seen him before, and he never disappoints! Finally, Focalist took the stage, singing my favorite song, "Dlala Kayona," which was absolutely beautiful.

The Verdict

Despite not knowing much about rugby, I had an amazing time at Boktown. The atmosphere, food, drinks, and performances all came together to create an unforgettable experience. I'm already looking forward to the next event and plan to rock my Springbok attire proudly!

If you're a fan of rugby, music, or just good vibes, Boktown is definitely worth checking out. I'll be back, and next time, I'll be ready to cheer on the Springboks like a pro!

Hey, music lovers! I'm still reeling from the surprise release of Shekinnah's third album, "Less Trouble". No teasers, no warning – just a full project dropped on us, and boy, am I glad she did it! The album has been on repeat in my playlist since day one, and I'm excited to share my thoughts with you.

A Departure from the Norm

"Less Trouble" is a game-changer. The 11-track album showcases Shekinnah's versatility as a vocalist and songwriter, effortlessly shifting between genres and moods. The feature with Young Stunna on one of the tracks was a pleasant surprise – it's a banger that adds a unique flavor to the album. What I love most about this album is how different it is from her previous work. The tracklist flows seamlessly, and each song complements the next.

Exploring Themes of Love and Self-Discovery

Shekinnah explores themes of love, self-discovery, and heartbreak throughout the album. The standout track "Bare Minimum" is an anthem for anyone who's tired of settling for less. It's a powerful message that resonates deeply. My top tracks from the album are "Spoonky," "Risk," "Steady" (both parts), "Bare Minimum," and "Breakup Season." Each of these tracks showcases Shekinnah's vocal range and emotional delivery.

A Must-Listen

If you enjoy atmospheric pop with introspective lyrics, "Less Trouble" is a must-listen. The album is a masterclass in versatility, and Shekinnah's talent is undeniable. I'm already planning to attend her next concert – she's highly gifted and deserves more recognition.

Rating: 4.5/5

Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with "Less Trouble." It's a cohesive album that showcases Shekinnah's growth as an artist. Have you listened to "Less Trouble"? Share your thoughts and favorite tracks in the comments below!

Recommendation: It's actually amazing to listen to the album from start to finish without any skips – the atmospheric journey will throw you into the album's vibe, and you'll truly appreciate its beauty.

Life is full of ups and downs, and sometimes, despite our best efforts, things don't go as planned. I've recently found myself in a situation that many might view as a step backward – moving back home with my mother. But let me tell you, it's been a game-changer.

The Struggle is Real

At the start of the year, my phone was stolen, and with it, my vlogging journey came to a halt. The loss was more than just material; it took a toll on my mental health. Financial struggles followed, and my side hustles weren't generating enough income to cover my expenses. Paying rent became a challenge, and I found myself struggling to make ends meet.

Giving In to Get Ahead

I tried to force life to work out, but it wasn't happening. It wasn't until I finally gave in and moved back home that I realized the wisdom in taking a step back to move forward. My  my mother have been incredibly supportive. We've had our moments, but she's not controlling, and I'm grateful for that.

The Power of Going Back to Your Roots

Moving back home has given me the opportunity to recharge and refocus. It's allowed me to get back to my roots and find strength in the people who know me best. I've come to realize that it's okay to go back home, to take a break, and to regroup. It's not a sign of failure, but rather a sign of self-awareness and humility.

My Advice: It's Okay to Go Back Home

If you're struggling, like I was, don't be afraid to take a step back and reassess your situation. It's okay to go back home, to live with your parents, and to find strength in your family. They might not be perfect, but they're yours, and they can offer you the support you need to get back on your feet.

The Importance of Self-Care

Forcing life to work out can lead to burnout, depression, and anxiety. Sometimes, it's necessary to give in to life and take a step back. It's okay to admit that you need help and that you can't do it all on your own.

Finding Strength in Vulnerability

Moving back home has taught me the value of vulnerability and humility. It's shown me that it's okay to not have all the answers and that sometimes, you need to take a step back to move forward. I'm grateful for this experience, and I'm excited to see what the future holds.

If you're struggling, know that you're not alone. It's okay to go back home, to take a break, and to find strength in your loved ones. Remember, sometimes you need to take a step back to move forward.

Netflix's highly anticipated series GO! dropped on March 21st, and I just binge-watched it. I'm here to give you the lowdown

The show starts off predictably enough, with Siya, a talented 100m runner,
landing a track scholarship to St. Jude's. But, as we know, life's never that straightforward. The Plot Thickens Siya's friend Mandla calls him to celebrate this milestone at a club,
but the night takes a dark turn when they're involved in a fatal car accident.
Siya was driving Mandla's car, but after the hit, Mandla is unconscious.
In a panic, Siya calls his brother Shuffle, who tells him to switch Mandla to the driver's side
to make it seem like he was driving. Unbeknownst to them,
Mandla wakes up with no memory of the accident and gets wrongly accused of being the driver. The Story Unfolds As the series progresses, we see Mandla discovering the truth about the accident
and that his cousin knows about it. Meanwhile, Siya doesn't show up for his track trial
at his new school, leaving us wondering what's going on. Then there's Gabi,
the sister of the boy who died in the accident.
In a shocking twist, she asks Siya to make love roughly and films the whole thing.
We also see Gabi telling her father that she wants to show him something,
and we can only assume it's related to Siya.

The Ending: A Frustrating Cliffhanger? Here's where my enthusiasm starts to wane. The series ends abruptly,
leaving me feeling unsatisfied. With six episodes, each around 20 minutes long,
I expected a more conclusive ending. Instead, we're left with multiple cliffhangers
that feel more like unresolved plot threads. It's like Netflix is saying,
"Hey, we'll pick up where we left off... eventually." To make matters worse,
Siya ends up living with the family of the boy he killed, adding to the complexity of the plot. The Good Stuff Despite the frustrating ending, I must give credit to the amazing visuals,
clever writing, and engaging storylines. The plot twists are impressive,
and I was hooked from the start. The characters are well-developed,
and their struggles are relatable. My Rating: 7/10 Overall, I'd give GO! a solid 7/10. While it's an intriguing series with a lot of potential,
the abrupt ending left me wanting more. If you're a fan of drama, suspense,
and complex characters, you might enjoy GO!.
Just be prepared for a potentially frustrating conclusion.
